The selection committees are now accepting nominations for 2010-2011 President’s Achievement Award and 2011 Griffin ’23 Management Award. Anyone can recommend an employee to be nominated. Nominations must be supported by the appropriate dean, vice president, or academic chair or director, and can be submitted from now through Monday, January 10, 2011. Award recipients will be honored at the Service Recognition Luncheon on March 24, 2011, in Jadwin Gymnasium.

Our 2010 Benefits Open Enrollment Confirmation Period runs from Wednesday, November 17, through Friday, December 3, 2010. During this time, all benefits-eligible employees will be able to access eBenefits to review, confirm and/or make final corrections or changes to the benefit elections made during our recent 2011 annual Benefits Open Enrollment Period. Please remember that all corrections must be submitted online by midnight, December 3.

The University launched its annual 2010 United Way Campaign at a breakfast held for departmental volunteers at the Carl A. Fields Center on Wednesday, November 10. All members of the University community are encouraged to participate in this year’s United Way campaign, Live United.

Employees and all members of the University and local communities are invited to attend a Veterans’ Day observance on Thursday, November 11, 2010, from 8:30 to 9 a.m. in the University Chapel.
