New Collaboration between Princeton & Lotsa Helping Hands

The University is pleased to announce a new collaboration between Princeton and Lotsa Helping Hands, to provide faculty, staff, graduate students and retirees with a Web-based service during times of need to build a community, known as your own “circle of community.” You or your family members can coordinate responsibilities, get assistance with organizing activities and communicate with your family, friends and neighbors. This is a no–cost, confidential service.

If you are you caring for a loved one, have responsibilities for the well being of an elderly family member, are parents of a newborn or need a simpler way to communicate with your family or community about the health of your loved one, this new resource might be able to provide you with a convenient solution. It can help you coordinate activities of daily living, for example:

  • meal preparation
  • grocery shopping
  • getting the mail
  • picking up prescriptions
  • organizing rides to medical appointments
  • dealing with insurance
  • laundry and dry cleaning
  • taking out the garbage and recycling
  • walking the family dog
  • yard work
  • organizing and paying the bills
  • cleaning the house
