Dental Plan Benefits - Retiree

Effective January 1, 2009, Princeton University will no longer be administering a retiree dental plan. This means we will no longer be enrolling retirees in a dental plan or collecting monthly premiums for the retiree dental plan. We have contracted with MetLife to administer a dental plan for our eligible retirees.

In early November, MetLife will be sending the retiree dental plan information directly to you. The MetLife enrollment period is November 17th through December 15th 2008 with dental benefits effective January 1, 2009.

All details about the retiree dental plan along with the plan rates will now be provided by MetLife. In addition, MetLife is providing a toll-free customer service number, 1-800-438-6388, and customer service representatives will be available to answer questions you may have about the retiree dental plan. This toll-free number will be available on or about November 10, 2008.
