Annual Open Enrollment Period
When you are first hired or become a benefits-eligible employee, you have 31 days to enroll in Princeton’s benefit plans. After this initial enrollment period, you are permitted to change your benefits only when your situation changes with a qualifying status event, or during the University’s Annual Open Enrollment Period.
- review and, if necessary, change your health benefits in eBenefits to meet your current needs;
- elect, change or waive coverage in a medical care plan, dental plan and/or vision care plan;
- change your supplemental life insurance coverage; and
- enroll or re-enroll in a Health Benefit Expense Account (HBEA), Dependent Care Expense Account (DCEA), the Transit Reimbursement Account Program and the Parking Reimbursement Account Program.
