Healthcare Plans

Princeton University provides benefits-eligible employees with comprehensive health insurance plans that offer the flexibility to select coverage that best meets your and your family’s medical needs. You can choose from several medical and dental plans and a vision care plan. You can cover yourself only, or you and your spouse, and/or your eligible dependent children.

All dependents must be verified to be eligible for coverage. You must bring your dependent eligibility documentation to Human Resources.

To help you make the best benefit decisions for you and your family, please consider using the decision support tool: ALEX. This online interactive tool acts as a virtual benefits counselor to help you learn more about Princeton's healthcare and supplemental plans.

You can count on support from knowledgeable and responsive HR staff when you have a question or problem. Just call or send us an e-mail. We’re here to help!

While the University intends to continue each of the benefit plans, the University reserves the right to terminate or amend any plan, at any time, and for any reason.
