Dental Care Plans
Princeton University offers three "employee pay all" dental plans to eligible faculty and staff. The dental programs are administered by Aetna and MetLife.
You have the choice of selecting from one of the three dental plans:
- Aetna DMO Dental Plan
- MetLife Basic Option Dental Plan
- MetLife High Option Dental Plan
Once you choose a plan you must remain in that plan until the next annual Benefits Open Enrollment Period. If you elect to participate in the Aetna DMO dental plan, you are required to complete the appropriate Aetna application form and elect a participating primary care dentist. The Aetna application/enrollment form is available here.
Not all treatments are covered. We recommend that prior to receiving dental services you should contact Aetna or MetLife to verify service coverage.
You can count on support from knowledgeable and responsive HR staff when you have a benefits question or problem. Just call or e-mail us. We’re here to help!
While the University intends to continue each of the benefit plans, the University reserves the right to terminate or amend any plan, at any time, and for any reason.
