Faculty & Staff Assistance Program
Princeton University has contracted with the Carebridge Corporation to provide confidential assistance to faculty, staff and graduate students for managing work, personal or family issues at no charge to the participant.
The Carebridge Employee Assistance Program for Faculty and Staff (EAP) helps faculty and staff members work through many difficult personal issues such as:
- Drug and/or alcohol abuse
- Stress and depression
- Financial issues
- Interpersonal relationships
- Married life and parenting
- Grief and loss
The individual Work Life Program assists with issues and referrals for the following types of services:
- Child care
- Elder care
- Time management and life balance
- Personal financial management
These lists comprise only a small number of topics that are available to you. In addition, you can access Carebridge's extensive online library of educational materials on a wide variety of topics.
We provide eight confidential counseling referrals from Carebridge's EAP professionals at no cost to you. Confidential appointments are available with counselors within the community or by telephone. There is no limit to the number of work life consultations.
The services provided by Carebridge are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Child Care Centers
For a complete list of child care centers in your area, please visit the Carebridge website and enter the Princeton Access code of TW8AE. Then go to DataBase Directory and select Find Child Care (located toward the bottom right of your screen). You can also call a Carebridge child care specialist at (800) 437-0911 who will develop a personalized referral and verify current rates, hours and other information that you may need.
All Carebridge programs and services are strictly confidential.
If you are interested in attending any of the seminars offered on campus, you can register two ways:
- Go to the Employee Learning Center website. Select the HR Learning Curriculum option on the left menu and select the seminar to register.
