Excelling at Princeton

The Office of Human Resources has partnered with Mercer County Community College to administer the Excelling at Princeton Program. Excelling at Princeton is a skill-enhancement program that strengthens math, computer, communication (oral and written) or English language skills. The program helps participants to enhance their on-the-job performance and increase competitiveness for lead and supervisory positions through learning and enhancing skills.

The program features two courses — English as a Second Language and Math and Communications, which meet twice a week from 7:30  to 9:30 a.m. with paid release time for benefits-eligible staff. The courses span two semesters and are taught by instructors from Mercer County Community College.

Interested applicants participate in placement testing and begin classes in September.

If you are interested in enrolling in the program, please talk to your supervisor and contact Kamara Blackman at kblackma@princeton.edu, 258-5957.
