Developing & Delivering Successful Presentations
Offered for employees who make presentations or are responsible for training others to plan, present and evaluate presentations.
Use the techniques discussed to prepare and deliver a three- to five-minute presentation on a simple topic and receive gentle constructive feedback.
Performance Objectives
- Understand the attributes of an effective learning event, defined as either a group presentation or a facilitated class session/discussion.
- Keep in mind the perspective of the learners throughout the needs assessment, preparation and presentation phases.
- Learn how to engage participants by incorporating active learning methods in presentations.
- Learn and develop practical techniques for preparing and facilitating a learning session.
