Princeton University retirees may be rehired as casual or regular employees. Retirees who return to work at Princeton must complete all the required paperwork, which includes a W – 4 Form and a Federal Employment Eligibility Verification I – 9 Form. The I – 9 form must be completed even if the individual completed the form at an earlier date of employment.
University retirees are paid at the appropriate hourly rate for the job for which they are being hired. Retirees returning to work at Princeton in a regular budgeted position should consult with a member of the Benefits Team to determine the impact of their rehire on their benefits.
