Erika Casey
Erika Casey, human resources administrator for onboarding, oversees the University's background screening program for staff hired through Human Resources. She partners with Environmental Health and Safety to administer the post-offer preemployment physical exams (POPES) and is responsible for onboarding new hires by helping them with relocation prior to arrival at the University and presenting on campus policies and procedures at new hire orientation. Erika also manages the staffing budget for HR.
Prior to Princeton, Erika was the head varsity gymnastics coach at the South Brunswick High School and former director of the South Brunswick Community Gymnastics Camp. She holds a bachelor of science degree in communications from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, has her K-5 teaching certification and completed the Management Development Certificate Program at Princeton. Currently, Erika is participating in the Human Resource Management Program in the Rutgers University Center for Management Development.
Erika is married to University staff member, Scott Casey, who works in the facilities’ site protection shop, and they spend much of their time keeping up with their energetic son. In her spare time, Erika enjoys snowboarding.
