John Flynn
John Flynn, compensation manager, assists with the development and administration of the University’s compensation programs. He evaluates position descriptions for existing and new jobs, and helps to resolve compensation and classification issues. John partners with other HR staff members and departmental managers to review and present salary and classification recommendations. He is also responsible for researching market information for the Board of Trustees.
Having begun at Princeton in 2000 as a temporary employee in the facilities department, John was promoted to a position in Human Resources in 2003.
John holds a bachelor of science degree from West Virginia University and is in the process of completing coursework to become a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
John enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also likes going to Philadelphia Phillies games, cycling and working on projects around his house.
