Karen Stathopoulos
Karen Stathopoulos, senior Human Resources manager, works closely with academic and administrative managers and staff members to address and support their organizational needs. Karen provides consulting and guidance in areas including organizational assessment and design, employee development, performance management, and conflict resolution. Karen also advises managers regarding complex employee relations issues to ensure compliance with University policies and employment laws and regulations, and offers coaching to build and strengthen employee and manager capabilities and partnerships. Karen collaborates with a knowledgeble internal human resources team to provide a full range of support to client departments.
Prior to joining the University in March 2004, Karen gained her over 20 years of human resources experience while working at financial service, pharmaceutical, and publishing organizations.
Karen holds a bachelor of science degree from Drexel University and a master of science degree in human resources management from Holy Family University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Outside of the office, Karen enjoys gardening, spending time at the Jersey shore, and collecting Staffordshire pottery figures.
