Loretta O'Connor
Loretta O’Connor, director of staffing, manages a team of staffing specialists responsible for the recruitment, selection and onboarding of administrative staff for the University. She leads classes for the Management Development Certificate Program and serves as an active member of the Princeton Diversity Council.
Loretta became familiar with the HR field through an internship she had at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School while undergraduate student. She spent several years in the financial services sector and pharmaceutical industry before working at Columbia University in the employment function.
Loretta holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in human resources management from Rutgers University. She is certified as a facilitator for Development Dimensions International (DDI) Learning Systems and as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Loretta has held various leadership positions with Delta Gamma, a women’s fraternity and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Greater Princeton.
