Steve Blechman
Steve Blechman, director of human resources information systems (HRIS), and his team introduce new technologies to the HR function that enable more efficient business processes and greater accessibility to data for employees and managers. They also provide management and compliance reports for HR, University management, external vendors and government agencies.
Steve received his bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Cruz, and his master's in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley. He has been certified as a Senior Professional of Human Resources.
Prior to coming to Princeton, Steve worked in many areas within the field of human resources, including staffing, compensation, employee relations and training.
Steve has been playing the piano since age 7 and performs regularly on his own and with musical groups. Currently he is learning to play the carillon at the Graduate School.
