Tara Texiera
Tara Texiera, manager of human resources information systems (HRIS), oversees the University’s Oracle/PeopleSoft HR system (HCM), including HR Self Service, and is a custodian of the HR Information Warehouse. Tara also manages the HR Data Management Group that performs transactional data entry and audit functions within the system. Tara focuses on system analysis, implementations, maintenance, upgrades, setup, security and reporting.
Tara has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in information systems from Baruch College of the City University of New York and a master’s degree in health care administration, also from Baruch College.
Prior to coming to Princeton, Tara was manager of information management at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York City, overseeing the HRIS functions in an Oracle/PeopleSoft environment. Tara also worked as a senior PeopleSoft implementation consultant with IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Hunter Group.
Tara is an avid sports fan and enjoys traveling and sharing in the activities of her twin daughters who participate in a number of sports including soccer and baseball. She hopes to one day see her daughters win an Olympic gold medal.
