What Our Teams Do

The Office of Human Resources is organized by HR teams to provide a wide range of services, programs and policies for the Princeton University staff, faculty, retirees and those who want to work here. We structured our teams in order to respond to your needs more comprehensively.

Whether you have a question about your personal health coverage, a workplace issue or joining Princeton's world-class workforce, the staff in Human Resources can help you. The Benefits & Work Life Team administers the University’s benefit plans and programs and assists employees to understand, access and utilize benefits to maximize their positive effect.  More…

The Diversity & Inclusion Team manages and guides efforts to conceptualize, define, assess, nurture and cultivate diversity as an institutional commitment. We endeavor to bridge the multiple constituencies that make up the Princeton community and develop practices to address issues of retention and recruitment of a diverse staff. More…
 
The Employee Relations Team guides and supports managers at a strategic and operational level in all people-related matters in the workplace, and also promotes employee engagement and  fair and equitable treatment of our employees. More…
 
The Labor Relations Team negotiates and administers all of Princeton’s labor agreements and encourages fair, honest and transparent relationships between University employees, managers and administrators to enhance the experience of all employees. More…
 
The Learning & Development Team provides programming and services to develop and enhance the skills and knowledge employees need to be successful in their jobs and to influence the quality and effectiveness of departments, teams, managers and leaders. More…
 
The Recognition & Events Team coordinates the University’s service recognition program through its annual staff luncheon and also partners with other departments on various other University programs, including the President's Achievement Award, the United Way Campaign, Martin Luther King Day Celebration and Community and Staff Day. The Services Delivery & Systems Team manages Princeton’s secured and confidential employment (non-academic) and benefits records for all employees, processes changes to our Human Resources Management System (HRMS) and HR Self Service System and provides reports to departmental managers and others as needed.
