Valuing Diversity

We are committed to providing a workplace that values, recognizes and reflects the diversity of the people who work here. As a premier institution of higher education, Princeton University is dedicated to fostering equal opportunity and respect for all members of our community. We champion the idea that inclusivity promotes the achievement of great things in our work settings as well as our classrooms and laboratories.

One of the many ways Princeton does this is through our Diversity Council, which develops short– and long–term priorities that shape and advance the University’s diversity mission and vision. Working in partnership with academic and administrative units, the Council’s chief purpose is to promote the University’s diversity goals and raise awareness of Princeton’s commitment to an inclusive and equitable community.
