Integrated Science Junior Year
At the end of the sophomore year, students choose a major, which could be in any of the sciences. Many students (irrespective of their major) also proceed to take “Project Lab” (QCB 301 Experimental Project Laboratory in Quantitative and Computational Biology). In Project Lab, students design and execute their own state-of-the-art research project with close faculty support, in the fall of their junior year. Project Lab is the capstone for the Certificate in Quantitative and Computational Biology.
The Lab meets Monday to Thursday from 1:30 to 4:20pm.
