In this section, you will find some information to help you gain a better understanding of what to expect as you adjust to life in the U.S. and to Princeton University. Most new international students, scholars, and their families will go through some sort of cultural adjustment process. There is no definite formula as to what will happen or how long it will take and the challenges will differ for different people depending on many variables such as age, native culture, English proficiency, and individual personality.
