Tea & Talk - International Discussion Group : American Research Universities
The American research university--Princeton being a rather unusual example—has been shaped by several educational traditions. It is also influenced by current trends in American society and higher education more specifically. In this discussion, we will consider some of these forces and compare American universities to others, taking Princeton University as our primary case. Bring questions and observations to discuss.
Join other international students & scholars in a relaxed, welcoming environment to discuss issues common to adjusting to life in the U.S. and to the Princeton culture.
EVERY Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. Feel free to come to as many or as few meetings as your schedule allows. A light lunch (and of course tea!) will be served at each meeting.
