Mindfulness practice is an invaluable skill that helps expand our capacity for happiness as we gain courage and skills to face our problems. This Tea & Talk will show you how to use mindfulness techniques to bounce back from negative events and enhance your life. Let’s slow down in this fast-paced setting and experience the wonders of positive emotions and resilience!
Tea & Talk is an informal weekly discussion and support group for international students and scholars - focused on issues that are common for international students as they adjust to life in the U.S. and the Princeton campus culture. Many international students experience homesickness, loneliness, academic stress, language and communication difficulties. Tea and Talk meets every Wednesday. Feel free to attend as many or as few meetings as you like. Come and receive insight from other international students facing similar challenges, as well as support from facilitators who are experienced with international student issues.
