Excursion: Taste of Philly
RSVP Required - Space Limited. Discover Philly's most popular food favorites while meeting other Princeton international students & scholars. Get a taste of the city's rich history and culture! Eat like a local on this fun, casual, Philadelphia themed tour that all of 'youz' are sure to enjoy!
This delicious and entertaining tour takes place in the heart of Philadelphia and includes five stops - cheesesteaks and cheese whiz fries, tomato pie, soft pretzels, chocolate-covered hard pretzels, and decadent cake truffles!
Get the scoop on Philly’s food history with quirky stories about how some of these iconic foods came to be, and walk away with food in your tummy and some insider tips about the best places to eat like a Philadelphian. This tour is served up with a generous side of humor, Philadelphia history, and a helping of beautiful architecture that includes an up-close look at City Hall—the second-largest municipal building in the country!
Bus leaves from Baker Rink at 10:30 a.m. sharp! (Please arrive by 10:15 a.m. so that we may get everyone checked in and leave on time.)
Guests are welcome if accompanied by a Princeton student. Each student/scholar may only bring up to two guests.
COST: $40/per person + $3.19 event fee
(includes "Taste of Philadelphia" tour ticket and transportation to/from Philadelphia).
You are responsible for any items purchased during the excursion.
**If you do not have a credit/debit card - please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. You will need to stop by the Davis IC no later than Monday, November 11th to pay in cash to reserve your spot on the excursion.**

We will accept reservation requests through Friday, November 15th at 5 p.m. Your payment on Eventbrite will serve as your event confirmation. If you decide that you cannot attend, please note that there are no refunds available. We recommend trying to find another student/scholar to take your spot.
