Discover Philly's most popular food favorites while meeting other Princeton international students. Get a taste of the city's rich history and culture! Eat like a local on this fun, casual, Philadelphia themed tour that all of 'youz' are sure to enjoy!
This delicious and entertaining tour takes place in the heart of Philadelphia and includes five stops - cheesesteaks and cheese whiz fries, tomato pie, soft pretzels, chocolate-covered hard pretzels, and decadent cake truffles!
Get the scoop on Philly’s food history with quirky stories about how some of these iconic foods came to be, and walk away with food in your tummy and some insider tips about the best places to eat like a Philadelphian. This tour is served up with a generous side of humor, Philadelphia history, and a helping of beautiful architecture that includes an up-close look at City Hall—the second-largest municipal building in the country!
Guests are welcome if accompanied by a Princeton student. Each student may only bring up to two guests. Bus leaves from Baker Rink at 10:30 a.m. sharp! (Please arrive by 10:15 a.m. so that we may get everyone checked in and leave on time.)
COST: $55/per person (includes "Taste of Philadelphia" tour ticket and transportation to/from Philadelphia)
TO RSVP: To RSVP for this trip, please submit your responses to the below survey. We will accept reservation requests through Friday, October 26th at 5:00 p.m. We will e-mail you on Monday, October 29th to confirm your participation, if selected. All those who were not successful in securing a spot will have the option to be put on the wait list.
