I-20 / DS-2019 Extension Procedure
To apply for an extension of your I-20 / DS-2019, you will need to submit the following to the Davis International Center:
1. Documentation of the approval of your DCE status by the Graduate School (a copy of the re-enrollment Reply Form indicating DCE status).
2. Documentation of the amount and source of your funding for the DCE period.
For the 2013-2014 academic term:
Students approved for DCE for the full academic year
1. For an extension through August 31, 2014

If you will be fully supported by your academic department, you will need to provide your Re-enrollment Reply form indicating adequate funding or a letter from your department indicating full or partial tuition coverage and the amount of your stipend.
If you will NOT be supported by your department (or you will be partially supported) you will need to submit one (or a combination) of the following:
• A scholarship or fellowship award letter indicating the duration and amount of support.
• A bank statement.
• A letter from a financial sponsor and documentation of his/her ability to support you (bank statement, letter of employment, etc.), etc.

Follow-up
Address: Your local address (not departmental) and permanent (non-U.S.) address must be current in University records to comply with immigration requirements. You must keep your address current in the SCORE system.
Graduate School: If you will receive funding from Princeton University, you will need to complete a new I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form in the Graduate School in Clio Hall. You will not continue to receive payment for the DCE period unless you update your I-9 in the Graduate School. You will need to provide documentation of your identity and proof of your extended F-1 (your extended I-20 or DS-2019.
