IT'S TIME TO FILE TAXES!
All international students and scholars who were in the U.S. in any visa type other than B (visitor) visa for any period of time during the year 2013 must file 2013 income tax documents with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The deadline for filing taxes is April 15, 2014.
You should begin preparing in these important ways:
Use GLACIER Tax Prep, a free nonresident tax preparation software, to file your taxes.
See Tax Filing Guidance for complete instructions.
- Begin collecting all applicable tax documents including forms W-2, 1042-S, and/or 1099 from Princeton University or other relevant employer. Princeton University will send relevant tax documents to you by March 15, 2014.
- If you were employed in the U.S. in 2013 and you do not yet have a social security number (SSN), you must apply for one before you file your taxes. More about Social Security Numbers
