The Department of State now has an online Visa Status Check tool that allows applicants to check the status of their visa applications. To be able to see the status of a visa application, an applicant needs to select the visa application type, the location where the visa application was submitted, and to provide the application ID or Case Number.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has launched an E-Verify Employers Search Tool that allows one to find employers currently enrolled in E-Verify. The search tool allows filtering, sorting, and exporting employer results. It replaces the lists of E-Verify employers and federal contractors that previously appeared on the E-Verify Website.
