Travel While on OPT
Travel while on OPT requires that the I-20 be signed for travel within the last 6 months. Contact the international office at your school to obtain a signature for travel. In addition, you should carry documentation of your employment. A letter of employment may be obtained from the Office of the Dean of the Faculty or Human Resources. Reminder, if you are traveling to other than Canada or Mexico or the adjacent islands, you also need a valid visa to be readmitted to the U.S.
