10/23/2008 - Microsoft has released an emergency critical update for Windows systems

Microsoft has released an emergency, critical security update for Windows systems and advises that the update be applied to all Windows systems as soon as possible. We have scheduled the automatic distribution of this update to all systems that participate in the University�s Windows Software Update Service (WSUS) this evening. Those who support Windows systems that do not participate in WSUS should apply the update as soon as possible.
