Testing of all updates was successfully completed on Friday, October 16th and the Microsoft updates have been automatically distributed to Windows systems that participate in the University's Windows Software Update Service (WSUS) on Saturday, October 17th.  If you support Windows systems, please ensure that the Microsoft and Adobe updates are applied as soon as possible.

Security updates have been released for Microsoft Windows software (eight critical and five important), and Adobe Reader and Acrobat software.  Individuals who support systems using the affected software should test these updates and apply them to their systems as soon as possible to reduce the risk of hackers exploiting the vulnerabilities that these updates address.

Once we have tested the Microsoft updates, we will distribute them to Windows systems that participate in the University's Windows Software Update Service (WSUS).  We estimate that these updates will be distributed via WSUS on Saturday, October 17th, in the early AM hours.
