Ableton Live! VSTs, MIDI & Live Performance
Sunday, April 21, 2pm - 4pm
Veteran Ableton Live user and musician Joshua Schnable will be showing us how to work a
remix from the first groove through the last. He'll also provide attendees with an overview of
the new features of the newly released Live 9, VSTs (plugins & sound libraries), MIDI, audio
clip manipulation, and more!
There will also be free Ableton Live 9 Demo Discs with Live 9 installers, sample loops, beats,
and VSTs for workshop attendees!
To Register: http://ow.ly/i55Go
Our Instructor: Joshua Schnable has been writing music with technology for the past 20 years, and using Ableton Live since 2001. Stylistically his music ranges from ambient, minimal techno and dub, to more melodically driven IDM (Intelligent Dance Music). He's released two collaborative albums, Raindays (2005), and a 2009 live performance. An ambient album awaits release, and a new project (Disconnector) is underway.
