Are there any other groups, identieties, or organizations which you are a part that you would be interested in speaing to as part of a panel? (i.e. Chicano Caucus, Religiuus Life Council, Lacrosse Team, etc.) If so, please list.

This year, there is also a peer education position that is solely responsible for programming and group facilitation.  These peer educators will help facilitate one of the LGBT Center ’s regular groups (i.e. First-Year Group, LGBT and Questioning Athletes, Queering the Color Line, and Transcending Boundaries).  In this role, you will lead weekly or monthly discussions, as well as attend a regular meetings with other group facilitators.  This is a uniquely engaging way to offer leadership in the LGBT community.  If you are interested in being a group facilitator, please indicate why you are interested and what group you are interested in facilitating.  In addition, what would you bring to this position that makes you especially suited for it?

There will be six teams, one for each college. The team leader will work with 3 or 4 other members of their team to plan between 5 and 10 peer education panels. The team leader will need to be in regular contact with the RCAs and with me to let us know when the panels will be happening. You will also meet as a group once a month. The time commitment varies, but it will probably average out to a couple of hours per week.

Are you interested in being a team leader for next year? Yes No

Why are you interested in being a team leader? What will you bring to the position?
