The Program in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies is cosponsoring a film series with the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures and the Program in Gender and Sexuality Studies this fall. The series, "Out of the Iron Closet: Gay Cinema after Socialism," will be held on Wednesdays at 7p.m., in 100 Jones Hall. Films will be screened in their original language with English subtitles.

Save the date for the annual CUGALA student-alumni networking event in January! All-ivy LGBT alumni, recent grads, and undergraduate and graduate/professional students are invited to attend a networking event. Whether you are contemplating graduate or professional school, thinking about changing jobs, interested in mentoring or just meeting new LGBT contacts, this event can be helpful to you. The format will begin with career field sector introduction groups (facilitated by an experienced alum), an "open mic" for self-introductions, then open mingling, light refreshments, casual conversations and networking.
