The Fellowship Subcommittee has recommended, and the Faculty Committee on the Graduate School has approved, that George Young be awarded a Porter Ogden Jacobus Fellowship for the 2012-13 academic year. Established in 1905 by Clara Cooley Jacobus, this fellowship is an honorific award reserved for four students who, in the judgment of the University faculty, demonstrate the highest scholarly excellence.
