Princeton's Andlinger Center director Emily Carter was in Bremen, Germany, earlier last week to receive an award from the German Chemical Society. The plenary lecture she gave associated with the award ceremony was boldly titled "How Quantum Mechanics Can Help Solve the World's Energy Problems."
Award rarely given by NASA, Administrator's Certificate of Appreciation, awarded to Professor Yiguang Ju in recognition of his outstanding contribution to NASA's space missions - in completion of the NASA Rockets Study resulting in an objective understanding of the rocket motor/engine landscape within NASA and the United States.
