A paper by Fujia Wu, Andrew Kelley and Professor C.K. Law, entitled “Laminar flame speeds of cyclohexane and mono-alkylated cyclohexanes at elevated pressures”, presented at the 2011 Eastern Section Meeting of the Combustion Institute, was selected for the first George H. Markstein Best Paper Award.
From June 26-July 1, more than 130 graduate students and researchers representing 56 universities, four national laboratories, and several major U.S. corporations came together on Princeton's campus to attend of the Princeton-CEFRC Combustion Summer School, organized by the Combustion Energy Frontier Research Center (CEFRC) and sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy.
