Shock structure near the ZnSe window that was used to couple the laser radiation into the nozzle. During energy addition the bow shock around the window is seen to stand off approximately twice the distance from the window for the no energy addition case. Shocks due to over expanded flow disappear during energy addition as flow becomes pressure matched. Flow is from right to left.
