Blue Fade

Effective Monday, October 19, all eligible outgoing First-Class Mail will now be processed as presort mail.

Mail Services has partnered with Print & Mail Communications, Inc. to facilitate presort First-Class Mail service for Princeton’s administrative and academic offices, which will result in savings of approximately $0.03 per piece for 1 and 2-oz letter-size mail and $0.10 per piece for flat-size mail. This service is only available to departments that use the Metering Request Form.  Departments that utilize their own meters are not eligible for presort First-Class Mail service.

Departments that use the Metering Request Form will not need to do anything new. Mail Services will identify the mail that qualifies for presort.

With presort First-Class Mail service, a majority of the University’s mail delivery time will remain the same and may improve.
