Civic Engagement & Public Service
Inspired by Princeton's unofficial motto "In the Nation's Service and in the Service of All Nations," all members of the Princeton community — undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, staff and alumni — are encouraged to be civically engaged. Whether contributing to scholarly understanding of public problems, performing direct service with community organizations, or working with NGOs or governments worldwide, Princetonians regularly work for the public good.
To make Princeton's unofficial motto tangible for all members of the University community, the Pace Center serves as the campus advocate and central resource for civic engagement at Princeton.
