British Early Music Ensemble to Perform

The acclaimed British early music ensemble The Binchois Consort will perform music from the High Renaissance at the Princeton University Chapel on Saturday, October 30, at 8 p.m.
The program is centered around the composer Josquin des Prez and will include several works that have not been performed since the sixteenth century. It will also feature the world premiere of a new work written specially for The Binchois Consort by the Princeton composer Carson Kievman.
Admission is free, and open to the general public.
The consort will perform as part of a three-day international conference, " New Directions in Josquin Scholarship ," which is hosted by the Music Department October 29 to 31.
