Senior wins national rugby honor

senior Katherine Stewart won the 2000 Woodley Award, considered the Heisman Trophy of rugby, at the national championships May 14. Stewart, who played fullback for Princeton, also won the tournament's Most Valuable Player award. The Woodley is awarded by the New York Rugby Club to the top male and female players.
Princeton finished second to Penn State in the national championship game.
