Princeton Experience survey

An online student survey is now being conducted to solicit views and ideas for improving the campus climate.

The Princeton Experience survey is the culmination of the first phase of an assessment effort that started in June 1999 and has included focus groups and discussions with faculty and staff. It is being spearheaded by Janet Smith Dickerson, vice president for campus life; Joann Mitchell, associate provost; Georgia Nugent, associate provost; and Karen Woodbridge, associate director of community and state affairs.

One goal of the survey is to achieve a better understanding of how the on-campus experience of its students enhances and/or diminishes the objectives of the University, Mitchell said. The survey also will provide a basis for evaluating specific policies and should suggest possible directions for changes.
