Documentary on Holocaust survival stories to be screened, Nov. 8

The Academy Award-winning documentary, "Into the Arms of Strangers," will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in McCormick 101. The film tells the stories of European Jewish children whose lives were spared when they were placed in foster homes and hostels in Great Britain just before the outbreak of World War II.
The event is free and open to the public. The program is sponsored by the Program in Jewish Studies and the Center for Jewish Life in commemoration of the 63rd anniversary of Kristallnact, or "Night of the Broken Glass."
