Carmen Vazquez, public policy director of the Lesbian and Gay Community Center of New York, will discuss "Queer Kinship in Times of War," at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in Frist Multipurpose Room A.
The lecture is part of the University's
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Student Services
speaker series and is co-sponsored by the
Women's Center
and the
Third World Center
. Carmen Vazquez is a queer Latina activist who has been an instrumental part of the LGBT movement for the past 30 years.
