Montano named to McGreevey's transition team for human services

Sasa Olessi Montano, director of the Center for Community Service , has been appointed to serve on Gov.-elect Jim McGreevey's transition team for New Jersey's Department of Human Services.
The Department of Human Services serves more than 1 million New Jersey residents each year. Its budget is nearly $8 billion, it employs more than 18,000 people and it contracts with more than 1,000 community-based service agencies.
The transition team will discuss the major challenges facing the department and make recommendations to the governor-elect for improving services and reducing service duplication.
