Klezmerpalooza 2001, Feb. 25

Klezmerpalooza 2001, an intercollegiate festival of Klezmer music and dance, will take place at Chancellor Green Rotunda on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 3:00 p.m.

The Princeton Klez Dispensers present an afternoon of this exciting fusion of the old Eastern European style and American jazz. Some of today's finest young klezmer bands will be performing, while a professional Yiddish dance leader will lead the community in the celebration of youth and klezmer. Legendary pianist Pete Sokolow will open as guest artist.

The event is free with student ID and $10 for others.
