Parking tickets for expired decals to begin Nov. 1

Tickets will start being issued on Nov. 1 to full-time faculty and staff members whose parking stickers have expired. The deadline had been extended from Oct. 18, since many of the stickers were still in interoffice mail after that date.
However, as of Oct. 25, parking office representatives say several hundred forms for new parking decals have yet to be submitted. The fine for an expired sticker is $20, going up to $30 per ticket if the fine is paid after the 10-day grace period.
To avoid receiving a ticket, those who have not completed the applications should do so immediately and drop them off at the parking office in Stanhope Hall. For more information, call 258-3157.
