Olcott to speak on Central Asia's new geopolitics, Nov. 30

Martha Brill Olcott will give a talk on "The New Geopolitics of Central Asia" at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, in Dodds Auditorium, Robertson Hall.
Olcott is senior associate and director of the Project on Ethnicity and Politics in the Former Soviet Union at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace .
She also is the co-author of "Getting It Wrong: Regional Cooperation and the Commonwealth of Independent States" and "The New States of Central Asia."
The lecture is presented by the Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination and the Program in Russian Studies .
