Anthrax evaluation available for bulk mail handlers

The University encourages any of its bulk mail handlers who recently visited the non-public work areas of either the Route 130 mail processing center in Hamilton Township or the Princeton post office in West Windsor to seek an anthrax evaluation at a state-run clinic.

One clinic is open at the Crean Hall Auditorium in the School of Nursing at St. Francis Medical Center on 601 Hamilton Ave. in Trenton through Thursday, Nov. 1, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services is providing anthrax evaluation and, potentially, treatment to people who may have been exposed to anthrax. The state emphasizes that all tests in public areas have been negative, and there is no need for anyone who visited public areas to be evaluated. For more information, view DHSS news .
