Posted March 7, 2002; 10:43 a.m.
Tonight at 8 p.m., Princeton's men's basketball team will play against Yale in a game to determine who will challenge the University of Pennsylvania for the right to go to the NCAA men's basketball tournament. Tonight's playoff game takes place at The Palestra on Penn's campus in Philadelphia.
The winner of the Princeton-Yale game will face the Penn Quakers for the NCAA tournament spot Saturday, March 9, at Lafayette College in Easton, Pa.
All three teams are co-champions of the Ivy League, but only one is guaranteed a spot in the NCAA tournament. Penn holds the advantage, since the Quakers won the most games when playing against Princeton and Yale this year.
Tickets, which are $12 for reserved seating and $5 for general admission, are available at the Princeton athletic ticket office . The office is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and can be reached at (609) 258-3538. Click here for additional ticket information and directions.
